The 20% participation rule seems to apply in not only church, but every organization. How do we motivate the 80%? Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is also the gift of talents. Yesterday, I listed the names of members of our congregation. I placed them in categories according to their talents as I perceived them. (I had thought God needed to send in some "qualified" people to build our church, but reality is God has already given us "qualified people" to work with!) Prayerfully, I am seeking the right "fertilizer" to feed the quality growth we seek. Christian Schwarz gives a lot of statistics, but I have gleaned much from the basic simple approaches that he seems to return to after every extensive analysis. He has caused me to think out of the box and in some different dimensions.
